Speech No. 02

(This speech can be written by 3rd to 5th students)

Today's President, Chief Guest, Principal of our School, Respected Teachers and all my Friends,

Today I am going to say two words before you on the occasion of Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day, I humbly request you to listen to them calmly.

Friends, today we are celebrating 17th September as Marathwada Liberation Day.

Our India became independent on 15th August 1947 but our Marathwada was ruled by Nizam institutions.  Our people were bearing their injustice.

Against this injustice, a liberation movement was started under the leadership of Swami Ramanand Theertha.  But as the Nizam did not surrender, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel initiated police action on 13 September 1948.

On 17 September 1948, the Nizam surrendered and his Marathwada became independent.

Since then 17th September is celebrated as 'Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day'.

Happy Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day to all and thank you for quietly listening to my two words.

                      Jai Hind!   Jai Maharashtra!

Speech No. 03

(This speech can be written by 6th to 8th students)

Honorable platform, distinguished citizens of the village gathered here, Gurujan Varga and my child friends,

Finally, on 17 September 1948, the sun of independence rose brightly in Marathwada.  Marathwada was freed from the tyranny of the Nizams and the people of Marathwada saw the golden dawn of freedom.

India became independent on 15th August 1947 but still our Marathwada was enslaved by the Nizam.

Many institutes in India merged with India after independence but the institutes of Junagadh Jammu and Kashmir and Hyderabad rejected the merger.

Eventually, Junagadh and Jammu and Kashmir were merged into India.  But the Nizam of Hyderabad in the middle of India refused legalization.

Nizam wanted to create his independent nation.  Marathwada was in this Hyderabad state.  The people here raised their voices against the tyrannical rule of the Nizam.  Therefore, Nizam created an organization under the leadership of Qasim Rajni to settle these people.

These people took the name 'Razakar'.  was slaughtering.  They were forcibly converted.

The people decided to fight against this injustice under the leadership of Swami Ramanand Theertha.  For the liberation of Marathwada, they fought with all their lives without caring for their lives.  But the Nizam was not appreciative of doing anything.

Then the then Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel ordered police action.  On 13 September 1948, government forces entered Hyderabad State and put pressure on the Nizam.

Finally on 17 September 1948 Nizam surrendered.  Marathwada was freed from Nizam's slavery and Marathwada also breathed a sigh of relief.

That is why Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day is celebrated on 17th September.

I wish everyone a very Happy Marathwada Mukti Sangram Day and conclude with my two words.

                    Jai Hind!    Jai Maharashtra!
